Giving back to our communities and developing our servant leadership is our top priority. That's why we dedicate our time to actively attending daily service events and donating to socially-conscious organizations.
WEEKLY SERVICE
Achiever's By Choice
"The mission of Achievers by Choice is to equip individuals with the social and academic skills and knowledge to graduate from high school or obtain a GED and acquire a postsecondary degree. We will provide a supportive educational environment of high expectations to encourage individuals to set and achieve personal and educational goals." (via http://www.achieversbychoice.org/) Century Men's Society supports the Brazos School for Inquiry and Creativity who is partnered with Achiever's By Choice to help tutor and mentor students in preparation for their state wide standardized testing.
Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach - Mama Club
"The Mama Club is a weekly event where teen moms come with their children to connect, have fun and learn how to be great parents. Every Thursday night during the school year, teen parents come for: a free meal, free diapers, free childcare, lots of fun, and great talks about parenting". (via https://pregnancyoutreach.org/mama-club/) Every week we are fortunate enough to support Mama Club and the mother's of the Bryan/College Station area.
PHILANTHROPY
"Camp Kesem is a nationwide community, driven by passionate college student leaders, that supports children through and beyond their parent's cancer."
Camp Kesem is a nationwide non-profit that runs over 90 summer camps for weeks of action-packed fun for kids whose parents are affected by cancer. Camp is 100% FREE-OF-CHARGE for all campers, and with the money we raise through our philanthripic events, we are able to help provide and improve our local A&M chapter every year. Additionally, many servant leaders in the Century Men's Society step up every year to serve as counselors at Camp Kesem over the summer.
